I remember as a 12 years old boy sitting many times by the window of a bus traveling through the streets of Bogota whit out destination and with the only purpose of observing, the people and the cityscape, getting absorbed by colors, shapes, mysteries and wonders of the city. Some of those images still vivid in my memory.
That was the beginning of an exciting journey of documentation and imaginative interpretation through the magic of PHOTOGRAPHY.

Rolando was born in Bogota, Colombia.
After finishing high school, he moved to Rome, where he studied Audiovisual Communications.
He then moved to New York, where he worked in commercial film, studied photography at The School of Visual Arts, and began working as a free-lance photographer. For the next ten years Rolando concentrated on his own personal work and refined his skills as a black and white and color printer.

His photographs have been exhibited in the USA, Colombia, Spain,
England and Denmark.

He now lives in Copenhagen,Denmark.
